Valentino Donna Born In Roma Intense is a luxurious and rich amber vanilla fragrance released in 2023 as a flanker to the original Born In Roma.

 

The fragrance opens with a bright and sweet blend of vanilla bourbon and amber. The heart features a rich bouquet of jasmine sambac, which adds a creamy, indolic white floral character. The base is dominated by intense benzoin resin, creating a deep, sweet, and resinous foundation.

 

The perfume comes in the signature Born In Roma bottle design - a heavy glass flacon with the distinctive Valentino rockstud pattern embossed in a rich gold color scheme, topped with a black cap. The juice itself has a golden amber colour reflecting its warm amber character.

 

This intense version is more concentrated than the original, with stronger vanilla and amber notes making it particularly suitable for evening wear and cooler weather.

Beautiful Born in Roma

Bought this edition of Born in Roma to complete my collection and while I do enjoy the vanilla scent, my favorite will always be the new Gold edition. Very similar to Born in Roma Pink and a must if you are a vanilla/benzoin lover and avid bottle collector! These bottles alone look amazing on a vanity! Now if only PCW would get the Gold version into stock…
