From the first spray, you get a prominent, slightly dirty musk braided with resinous amber and agarwood, giving a shadowy, leathery, almost incense‑like feel rather than a clean laundry musk. As it develops, woody notes (often described as teak and other dark woods) and nutmeg add dryness, spice, and structure, making the fragrance feel earthy, smoky and refined rather than sweet. The drydown is long‑lasting, musky‑ambery and slightly powdery, with oud and woods humming underneath, creating a warm, enveloping veil that can read quite mature and strongly masculine on skin despite its unisex positioning.
