Lancôme Poême Eau De Parfum is a rich, classic floral-oriental fragrance built around contrast: icy blue Himalayan poppy and lychee blossom on top, a lush floral heart, and a warm vanilla-dusted base.

 

The opening is distinctive and airy, with blue Himalayan poppy and lychee blossom giving it a bright, slightly fruity lift. The heart is opulent and feminine, centered on orange blossom, mimosa, and jasmine, with additional florals like tuberose and ylang-ylang appearing in fuller note pyramids. The base turns soft and sensual with vanilla, datura flower, musk, tonka bean, and amber-like warmth.

I’m in love

Usually a Guerlain girl but thought I’d try something different. So glad I did. This is beautiful. The sillage on this is fantastic but not too cloying either. I’m thinking an autumn, spring or summer scent. Might throw caution to the wind and wear it through winter too. An excellent blind buy.
