Guy Laroche Fidji Eau De Toilette is a classic green-floral chypre for women, launched in 1966 and created by perfumer Josephine Catapano. It’s built around a sharp, green galbanum opening, a lush bouquet of white florals and spices, and a mossy-woody, ambery base, making it a quintessential “green floral” of the mid-20th century.
Fidji has a bold, green opening dominated by galbanum’s sappy, cut-stem character, lifted by citrus (bergamot and lemon) and sharpened by hyacinth and aldehydes for a crisp, almost “chlorophyll” effect. A rich, spicy-floral heart where jasmine, rose, ylang-ylang and violet form a lush bouquet, spiced up by cloves and softened by powdery orris. A classic chypre drydown built on oakmoss, sandalwood and patchouli, wrapped in musk and amber for warmth, giving it a refined, slightly earthy, long-lasting trail.
