CHEAP, CLEAN AND CLASSIC
To me, Coty Aspen is the ultimate "nostalgia in a bottle". It is an absolute classic from 1989 that punches way automotive-high above its incredibly budget-friendly price point. When I first spray it, I get a sharp, crisp blast of citrus and heavy green notes. It genuinely makes me feel like I am walking through a damp, refreshing pine forest right after a crisp rainfall. As it settles on my skin, the fragrance transitions into a clean, slightly soapy mix of lavender, juniper, and warm balsam fir. Many people compare it to Davidoff's Cool Water or Creed's Green Irish Tweed, but to my nose, Aspen leans much more heavily into those mountain-woods vibes rather than anything aquatic. Because it is a cologne-strength spray, the longevity is on the shorter side for me. I usually get about 3 to 5 hours of solid wear before it fades into a subtle skin scent. It has surprisingly great projection during the first hour, though! It is my absolute favourite choice for a quick afternoon spray, a relaxed casual weekend, or just when I want to feel exceptionally fresh and clean
