Boucheron Oud de Carthage Eau De Parfum is a unisex amber-oud fragrance created by Dominique Ropion. It combines royal honey and incense with labdanum, tonka bean, oud and leather, producing a warm, resinous and quietly dramatic scent.

The opening is smoky, balsamic and honeyed, with incense giving the sweetness a darker edge. Labdanum adds an amber-like resinous quality in the heart, while tonka bean brings creamy warmth. The dry-down is woody, leathery and slightly smoky, with the oud presented as a smooth luxury-wood accord rather than an aggressively animalic one.

Oud de Carthage is not a bright, medicinal or sharply animalic oud. Its central effect is closer to incense-drenched honey, warm labdanum and soft leather, with the oud adding depth and prestige. It is described as a rich and powerful oriental-leathery composition with a sensual trail.
