Carven began as a French fashion house. It was founded in 1945, the year the war came to an end. As Paris struggled to keep its status as the front-runner of international fashions, Carven released its first couture collection. A statement dress of white and gold lead the catwalks. Immediately after its success, a perfume was introduced, named Carven Ma Griffe Eau De Parfum. This crisp, mossy woody fragrance with prominent green notes was the first fragrance to be sold in aircrafts!
During the 21st century, Carven has released two new scents known as Carven L’Eau De Toilette Eau De Toilette, and Carven Le Parfum Eau De Parfum the more potent version of the EDT.
